Back to School Boys.....

The boys, Tyler and Cason, had a long weekend. Monday was MLK day and Tuesday was a teacher work day. This is all fun because its kinda a holiday weekend but what might not be so fun is that means report cards on Friday. Momma might be in a good mood and might not :(
Tyler went to his best friend Michaels house one night, the next night Michael came over here. Cason played Playstation 3 while his brother was gone, and then finally got to use those WWE wrestling tickets he has been waiting for since Christmas. Him and daddy got to go to the Bilo Center and see Batista, Rey Misterio, Undertaker, and many more of his favorites. He was SOOO excited! They didn't get home last night until about 11am so needless to say CP was very tired this morning before school. They both got dressed, ate, brushed, and was off in time for school....now Charli and I are watchin Playhouse Disney and working :)

Pretty Girl

Charli was a pretty girl before but she is even more beautiful now. We took her to get her ears pierced on Saturday. We went to Piercing Pergoda in the mall. The girl did a great job. She cried of course but not for long, she was crying more because I was holding her head. We got the tiniest white gold balls you ever did see. Once she was done, it was time for her to eat so we fed her and it hasn't bothered her since. I am so glad we chose to get them done while she's small so that she is use to them before she starts tugging at her ears.
She always wore her first pair of blue jeans today. They are soooo cute! They are little bell bottoms with snowflakes on the bottom. She looked all grown up. Here are a few new pictures of the little monkey :)

Off to a good start!

Ok, so I am kinda proud of myself - Im off to a very good start. I have been watching my calories and sticking to 1200 or less per day. My Biggest Loser kick off got moved to Monday so haven't started that yet, but I have went to a Booty Camp, Strength Training, and Cardio Kickboxin class this week which kicked my booty but felt good. I also invested in the Wii Fit and it is sooo much fun. If you don't have one I highly recommend it. It's not only great for yourself but the whole family. My husband and kids have all done it and found out their Wii Age. My Wii Age, based on the Body Test they give you was 42 so I definitely have a goal there! I set my Wii Calories to burn at least 150 per day which is about 30 minutes. Im soo excited. Tomorrow is Cardio Pump and more Wii. Summer 2010 here I come :) GO ME !

I wanna be the Biggest Loser!

Since I had baby Charli, I am about (according to the chart) 60lbs over weight being 5'7. She is now 3 months old so it's time to take charge. What a great time being the beginning of a new year and a good way to start off 2010!
The Mauldin Sports Center, which I happen to already be a member from BEFORE I became pregnant, is having a Biggest Loser competition starting this Thursday. I have joined, Im ready, and so motivated. I have a few friends that have decided to join me. I got a head start on Monday morning at 5:30. I went to Booty Camp. It kicked my booty for sure! Monday afternoon, I thought I would be even more brave and did a 20 minute workout tape with Julian Michaels. I don't know which one was worse but at least the tape was only 20 minutes.
Today, my abs hurt the worse - that means closer to a six pack and loosin this keg/tire I have.
My first goal is going to be to shoot for a 60lb weight loss by May 1st. That is almost exactly 18 weeks. St Francis is hosting the 2010 Annual Mud Run and I plan on entering it. This will be my first big event since working out. Then on to a 5k or 10K for the next goal.
Wish me luck!

Santa came for an early visit

I made a call to Santa about taking pictures with the kids. He offered to come to our house so that we wouldn't have to get little Charli out in the cold. How sweet of Santa, but would you expect anything less? I invited my sis over and my brand new nephew so she wouldn't have to take him somewhere else...The kids were all very cooperative, well Skye (my nephew slept most of the time). Cason and Tyler told Santa what they wanted for Christmas and Santa told them they had been good this year - ha! Cason and I made some Oreo Dirt balls, which Cason had to share with Santa as an early snack. It was a great moment and I got some great pictures!
Merry Christmas.

Christmas Pics

So of course I don't have the money to really take the kids anywhere to get their pics taken, so I decided to do some myself for our Christmas cards. They turned out really good. Charli is the cutest stinkin Ms Claus ever! The boys are getting so big and don't care to take pictures but they did and they are so stinkin handsome. They sat in front of the fireplace for me. I fixed Charli up her chair with a back drop and she even cooperated. Ohhh I can't wait until Christmas. Santa pictures will be next :) HO HO HO

Postcrossing

For anyone that isn't familiar with Postcrossing, you should really check it out. Basically, its a free service to receive postcards from all around the world. The only cost is when you send a postcard (postage isn't very much - even if its going to China). I sent 5 postcards for about $7.00 (one to China, Russia, Ireland, Germany, & one within the US).
I received my first postcard today. It's from Russia by a lady named Irina. It is a portrait of Natalie Coucharoug - whom is the wife of a famous Russian Poet, A.S Pushrin.
I can't wait to see where else I get them from - I think I will start a scrapbook to put them in :)
