Girls Craft Night

Tonight was our monthly get together with the girls from high school. I went to one a few months back and haven't been able to attend another one with everything going on the last 4 months.

It was so much fun. Tonya Gibson invited us to her home for some appetizers, girl talk, and crafts. Girls there - Tonya, Kristen, Amy, Bridgett, Shea, and Lisa. We had some mini sandwiches, spinach dip, salsa and chips, and some good ole gooey bars - YUM. It was great to just sit around for about an hour and talk about family and baby stories together, especially when you sit at home by yourself all day for about the last 8 weeks and have no one to talk too - and no girl talk since Charli can't even laugh yet..lol. The craft that Tonya and Kristen got us was called Light Boxes. I haven't ever seen them before and it was such a great idea. I painted a wine colored H for Hamby and used a brown, gold, and wine colored ribbon to decorate the top of it. Everyone did a great job, even us not so crafty ones :) Can't wait until the next girls craft night!
